It is with a heavy heart and a great feeling of sadness that I post the Final Sunset Blog. My old friend Joe Btfsplk is a fitting image to start out with. This, our last trip in the RV and has been dogged by El Nino from day 1. It was rain and cold all the way down the Gulf Coast and not until we reached Port St. Lucie on the return leg did we encounter the Florida sun and warmth we were seeking. We had a good stay in Port St. Lucie and an equally good stay here in Fort Pierce. In case of complete serendipity we enjoyed out last sunset in Florida with some old friends from Port St. Lucie. We enjoyed dinner with Bobbi and Walter Deemer of Port St. Lucie at Chuck's Seafood Restaurant in Fort Pierce. We sat out on the deck overlooking the bay. The sunset was spectacular and a fitting end to our RV travels. Photos below.
