Port St. Lucie

At last we found the Florida of our dreams. We left all the rain and cold of the Gulf Coast behind us and landed in sunny Port St. Lucie. The temperature yesterday was 78 degrees and just enough breeze to fan the face with a pleasant coolness. Not a cloud marred the azure blue sky and the timing was perfect. The upper half of the US was freezing or snowing or both and that made watching the weather channel a fun experience. We took lunch at one our favorite spots which is the Pelican Cafe. The Pelican Cafe is a rustic eating place on the Port St. Lucie river with a great view and seating on a mini beach of sand and umbrella covered tables. After that we went to the Elliot Museum and took in the antique auto display they had there. Photos below.
