Thanks for the good times

Thanks for the good times. On this, my final post on the travel blog I would like to take a path taken less frequently by me and thank the woman I am currently married to. This whole RV'ing project started 5 years ago. For maybe 30 years I had this fantasy rattling around in my poor damaged brain about cruising down the open road in my RV sitting behind my picture window listening to Creedence Clearwater Revival throbbing out of my surround sound system. Those of you that know " She Who Must Be Obeyed " know she is not a camper type. She is a delicate flower that feels roughing it is an older Holiday Inn. Good sport that she is she let me buy the first RV. Total mistake. I won't go into the gory details but suffice it to say it was one of the dumbest things I ever did. Even I have occasional bursts of sanity and I recognized the error of my decision so I let her pick out the next one. Absolutely fantastic. She chose the perfect RV in every way. It has been a good 5 years, at least for me, and delicate flower was a good sport and went along without complaining. Having said all that it is time to put that part of our life to rest so the RV goes up for sale as soon as I get it cleaned out. Once again I would like to thank my wife for indulging me in my stupid ideas and being a good sport. More to come.
