Lunch at St. Armands

No visit to the Sarasota area would be complete without a visit to St. Armands which is just south west of Sarasota on a little key reached by a causeway. The closest analogy I can come up with to describe St. Armands is a small circular island turned into a circular mall with a roundabout in the middle. It's the kind of place where you can see a couple of Roll Royce vehicles or a Bentley from time to time. We had lunch at the Columbia restaurant which is a Spanish restaurant founded in 1905. A nice touch was they toss your salads tableside. Photos below.
