Day 2 The Great Annual Florida Trip

Not much to report about day 2. The wind blew hard all day long and the temperature never rose all day. In fact the high was in the morning and the thermometer dropped all day. When we woke up this morning it was 37 degrees outside, not much different than Columbia. Scratch Jacksonville off our list of winter vacation spots. Today we drive to Port St. Lucie which we hope will start the thawing process. The only place I went yesterday was to the local Walmart. Made me feel right at home walking across the parking lot while the cold wind cut through my jacket. It is going to be sunny and 68 degrees today in Port St. Lucie and then warm up next week. I can live with that. This frozen tundra crap is ok for Green Bay Packer fans but not for me. At my age I'm like a lizard, I like sitting in the sun warming my bones. As usual will keep you posted.
