Comments on the weather
Even as I sit here tapping away on my keyboard it is 75 degrees. There is a soft breeze caressing my skin much like the loving touch of a woman with soft loving hands. The high today is expected to be 84. Up north the less fortunate are battling freezing temperatures and ice storms. However down here in Key Largo, thanks to my good friend Jim Waddill, I can sleep undisturbed by thought of power outages and frozen pipes. I e-mailed Jim yesterday and asked him if he would turn the water off at the street at Casa Eagles Rest and he graciously consented. Kudos Jim, I owe ya. We didn't take any pictures yesterday as we spent most of the day shopping for groceries and such like to restock the fridge and the cupboards. My thoughts today go out to the poor people up north shivering in the dark waiting for the power to come back on.
