Smallwood Store

For our first adventure deep in the Everglades we chose to visit the Smallwood Store. The Smallwood Store was built in 1906 and was a general store that serviced the local fisherman and the sparse population that lived in the area. When the descendent of Mr. Smallwood closed down the store in 1982 they left 90% of the contents in place and ultimately turned it into a museum. Photos without comment below. Some will bring back memories to you older folks out there. Girls please take note of the last photo in this group.
