Annual trip to Highlands

Yesterday we made our annual trip to Highlands, NC. We go there once a year to feed our feelings of inferiority and lack of self worth. This is where all the ritzy people from Florida and Atlanta go to spend the summer. It is common to see a Rolls Royce complete with Chauffeur or a Mercedes Roadster with the top down. The women are all well dressed and well coiffed. Even a klutz like me can tell quality clothes and expensive hair do's. Trust me, expensive clothes make a difference on a woman. Countless hours on a stairmaster don't hurt either. In any event we dined at the Bistro on Main Street and had a great lunch. Photo of the queen and her lunch enclosed.

  Along the way we snapped a picture of the coloring of the leaves. Photo below. 

 Dogs have become the latest fashion accessory. Just about every stylish woman in Highlands had a small dog on a leash. The cutest ones were the Shitzu's. One woman had a pair of twin Shitzu's on a leash. After reinforcing our feelings of inferiority sufficiently we stopped at Bridal Veil Falls on the way back. Photos below.
