Life Is Good

Life is good. There is nothing better than driving down the freeway heading south to escape the brutal cold and wind of the frozen tundra knowing that you will never be cold again. Sitting behind the wheel of a motorhome being driven by 500 cubic inches of fuel injected Detroit cast iron and listening to my favorite Gene Autrey CD playing "You Are My Sunshine" and the sad and mournful "The Last Roundup" Life Is Truly Good. We arrived safe and sound in Port St. Lucie Florida where we were greeted by 86 degree temperatures. I feel so sorry for our less fortunate friends and relatives up north who are trapped in the cold like some characters out of a Jack London novel. I took a couple of pictures of the scenes in back of our RV before crashing in the lawn chairs and drinking and excellent bottle of wine provided by our dear friends Dana and Jan Hopkins. Know that I drank an extra glass and toasted the both of you. Pictures of the pond behind our pad.
