Leaves

My current wife decided that she needed to see some tree leaves. The leaves we have on South Carolina trees wouldn't do at all. She needed to see North Carolina leaves. North Carolina mountaintop leaves to be even more specific. So I readied the motor home, loaded up our belongins and off we went to the mountains. We are staying at a real neat concept called an RV and Breakfast. You stay in your RV and have breakfast in the farm house. I'll send some photos I took this morning but my puny little camera just doesn't do justice to broad vistas. The place is called Cardinal Ridge Farms and it literally sits on the side of a mountain. The views are spectacular although it's a little scary climbing up the narrow winding road to get here. It rained most of the evening we arrived so we didn't go exploring.  Fortunately my Dish Network worked flawlessly so the current wife could watch dancing with the stars. Hopefully today will be able to do some exploring. One of the things on our mission list is apples. For some reason apples from Kroger's are just not the same as apples grown in the mountains. Or so my current wife says. Cardinal Ridge Farms is in the Franklin, North Carolina area only considerably higher. Here is their website if you are interested.
