Everglades Cruise

We took a short Everglades Cruise to enhance our knowledge of the Everglades. As we picked up our tickets and went down to the staging area I was struck by the number of people with binoculars. In fact we were the only couple without binoculars. It made me wonder at the time what they would be looking at that would require binoculars but I put it aside as just overly equipped tourists. We soon found out. Everglades tourist are pretty much all bird watchers. I felt kind of left out as 20 people were lined up along the railing peering through their binoculars and speaking some strange language I didn't understand and I was standing back wondering what all the excitement was about. In event it was pleasant 1 1/2 hour cruise and I did snap a few photos. After the cruise we stopped at Sweet Mayberry's Cafe and had a fabulous lunch. Photos of everything below.
