The Magic Is Gone

On the drive down we had the following conversation. Turning on my smooth, golden tongued, schmoozing skills to full throttle I opined as to how I could live in South Florida 8 months out of the year and the mountains of North Carolina the other 4 months. She said go right ahead but she was staying at 913 Fairline Court. I countered with the fact it was a wife's duty to follow her man. She said she had never read that and if she did she had forgotten it. I countered with the passage from Ephesians that said that a good Christian wife should follow her husband wherever he would lead. She said she had skipped that chapter in bible study. I countered with the suggestion that if a wife really loved her husband she would go with him. She said she loved me but just not that much. The Magic is Gone. Whatever happened to " Take Me, I'm Yours"?
