Lunch at Snooks Bayside

Before we get to lunch at Snooks allow me to digress and comment on an interesting phenomenon I have recently discovered. Never eat the last of anything. This is for you guys out there that read my blog. Decaying food emits pheromone signals that are only able to be read by the female of the species. It's almost like a radio signal. As long as the slowly decaying food is undisturbed it emits these invisible radio signals that reassure the female of the species all is well. However, if the male opens the refrigerator or cupboard and removes this stale, slowly decaying foodstuff, cleans the mold and dead stuff off and consumes it the radio signal stops. Come morning the female of the species is drawn like a magnet to the refrigerator or cupboard and starts looking for the missing signal. Not being able to find it they emit a loud shriek and ask where the now missing item has gone to. It turns out they had been dreaming of eating that last item for days and now it is gone completely ruining their whole day and, most likely, yours. The lesson here is never, ever, eat the last one of anything. Never. It's always the last one of anything they crave and if you should make the mistake of consuming it you will pay dearly. Ok, on to Snooks. We had lunch at Snooks Bayside Cafe today. The weather was picture perfect. 76 degrees, bright sunshine and gentle breezes off the bay. The food was excellent, as usual. We followed up that evening with a great sunset on the beach. Pictures and captions below.
