The times they are a changing

The times they are a changing. More on that later but first a little catch up. We have spent the last couple of days parked here at beautiful Lake Hartwell right on the water. We are here to attend the graduation of one of Mary's many granddaughters from that hated orange school up north better known as Clemson University. Thursday we took in the Clemson Botanical Gardens. Photos below.

We took gobs of pictures but these will suffice for now. Saturday we attended the graduation ceremony which was held at Clemson's Littlejohn Coliseum or basketball arena in plain english. This is where the Times They Are A Changing comes in. The first group to be award their Diplomas were the Doctorates. Out of the entire group only 2 or 3 had names that would sound familiar to you and I. All the others were Kutrupalis or Chongs. The Asians and Indians totally dominated this group of graduates. The few Anglo Saxons that got their degree got their first taste of being a minority. The same held true for the next group which was the Masters Degrees. 80% or more Asians and Indians with only a handful of Anglos. Last came the PHD's. There the numbers reversed. Probably 80% Anglo Saxon and 20% Asians and Indians. Apparently the Anglos don't go in for higher education. In any event, last but not least, we get to the reason for being here, the granddaughters graduation. Pictures below. By the way, her name is Christina Paris, daughter of Alex and Maria Paris.
