Another Fabulous Day In South Florida

Another fabulous day in south Florida. Temps in the low 80's, gentle breezes and yesterday we were fortunate enough to have lunch with a couple of friends Walter and Bobbi Deemer. We met Walt and Bobbi at an RV&B park in the mountains of North Carolina a couple of years ago and have kept in touch by e-mail ever since. Walt is a published author of books on investment strategy using technical analysis. It was a special treat dining with a friend and a famous one as well. On the way over to Walt's place we stopped at the Bella Roma Italian Bakery and picked up some dessert. I don't know what they called it but it was lots of chocolate, sugar and frosting. I wish they had a Bella Roma in Chapin. On second thought I'm glad they don't. Mary's daughter in law is first cousins with the owner of the Bella Roma so naturally we had to introduce ourselves to him. Nice guy, great bakery. We took some pictures on our morning walk around the park which I will post below.

    Beautiful photos Bill and Mary. The foliage and turf look like summer. I think there is about 40 days till Spring. I am ready for some personal time in the garden this weekend. Won't be pruning or fertilizing yet but there is plenty of raking and tidy work to do.
    My kids up North are muddling through cold frigid days. Our days are cool but no snow, ice or frigid temps this week. Busy days at work though. Lots of people looking for places to rent and home buying. Perhaps the HARP program is stimulating the confidence for people ready to purchase homes this spring. We will see. Hope you both have a wonderful weekend. We will keep you seats warm on Sunday at church and at Cracker Barrel! Love y'all!
